She then embarked upon an eight month apprenticeship in France with Yannick Guegan, the pioneering trompe l'oeil artist.<p>As a freelance decorative artist Wink usually works in private houses, painting murals and a wide variety of faux marble, wood and stone effects. She also specialises in producing smaller trompe l'oeil items on walls and furniture.
